SunLund-by-the-Sea

  • Popular private campground located in the centre of Lund, just 10 minutes drive from our site on Okeover inlet.
  • Close walk to Nancy’s Bakery, the Lund hotel, the Boardwalk Restaurant and the Lund harbour.
  • Amenities include: electricity, personal showers, wi-fi, tables, fire pit, wash and laundry rooms.

Dinner Rock

  • Situated on Highway 101, 20 minutes north of Powell River & 15 minutes from Okeover.
  • 13 vehicle sites and 13 tent only sites.
  • Operates on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Very basic amenities: pit toilets, no electricity, picnic areas, spacious sites can fit bigger groups.
  • Free to the public.
  • Amazing views of Savary Island and Vancouver Island from select sites.

Okeover Arm Provincial Park Campground

  • Located right on Okeover Inlet, only 5 minutes drive from our main site in Penrose Bay and 10 minutes to Lund.
  • 14 vehicle accessible and 4 tent only sites.
  • Operates on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Basic amenities: pit toilets, no electricity, picnic areas, drinking water, fire rings.
  • $18 per group / night for vehicle accessible sites.
  • Pet friendly.

Lund Resort at Klah Ah Men

  • 35 minutes north of Powell River and 15 minutes drive from our site in Okeover Inlet.
  • 31 guest suites and rooms, all newly refurbished and inspired by Tla’amin art and culture
  • The building is also home to a general store, post office, laundry, pub, as well as PRSK’s satellite Lund shop.
  • Pet friendly (with some restrctions).
  • Complimentary Continental Breakfast.

The Old Courthouse Inn

  • A Historic Inn in the Townsite district of Powell River, near the town’s still operating paper mill and a 30 minute drive from Okeover.
  • Just an 8 minute drive into Westview and amenities including supermarkets, cafes, chain stores, galleries, etc.
  • Only 5 minute drive to the Comox ferry terminal and 35 minutes to the Saltery Bay ferry south to Vancouver.
  • Elegantly furnished rooms that include cable TV, wifi, DVD player and movie selection, coffee and tea, bar fridge.
  • Great restaurant on site popular with locals and tourists.
  • Complimentary full hot breakfast included at the restaurant (Edi Rae’s Cafe).

Powell River Harbour Guesthouse & Hostel

  • Located seconds from the Comox ferry terminal in Powell River and a 35 minutes drive to our launch site in Okeover Inlet
  • Both mixed dorms and private rooms are available
  • Amenities include a fully equipped common kitchen, large common area, wifi, sun deck with ocean views, laundry facility, secure storage for valuables / bikes / etc, parking
  • Pets may be allowed in private rooms 

Beyond Bliss Hotel Suites

Beautiful guest rooms located in the heart of the Marine Drive area in Powell River. All the rooms have private balconies,  while complimentary wired and wireless Internet access keeps you connected, and cable TV is provided for further entertainment.

  • Found in the middle of Powell River’s Westview district, 35 minutes drive from Okeover and Lund.
  • The unique and private cottage & suite is set amongst a large English garden with a gazebo, fire pit, patio and a private creek on the property.
  • The Cottage has 4 bedrooms & 1 bath; the Suite has 3 bedrooms & 1 bath — a great option for families and larger split groups.
  • A quirky treehouse on the premises is available for additional guests with double bed.
  • Kitchens available in both cottage and suite, plus fireplaces & ocean views.
  • Small-pet friendly.

Blitz Beach House

  • An Ocean front beach house located just 20 minutes north of Powell River and a 15 minute drive from our launch site on Okeover Inlet.
  • Fully furnished studio suite available: queen bed, ocean view, private entrance and balcony, wifi, satellite TV, equipped kitchen, coffee maker and kettle, gas BBQ and fire pit!
  • Comfortably sleeps 2 adults (please enquire about children).
  • No pets allowed.
  • Minimum 2 night stay during the summer.

Malaspina B&B

  • Located on Malaspina Road, 5 minutes drive from our Okeover location and 10 minutes drive to the village of Lund.
  • 3 units located on a beautifully landscaped 4.5 acres of woodland.
  • Adults only.
  • Free wifi.
  • Fully cooked breakfast in the mornings.

The Magical Dome

  • Located 5 minutes north of Lund, and 20 minutes drive from our launch site in Okeover Inlet.
  • A very unique, funky cottage nestled amongst the rainforest, with an accompanying bunkhouse that sleeps from 2 to 13 people!
  • There is a fully equipped kitchen, loft, and spacious living area, while the property includes a sauna and bathhouse.
  • 3 night minimum during the summer season from June 29-September 5.

The Grouse House

  • Just north of Lund, and 15 minutes drive from our site on Okeover Inlet.
  • Beautiful 5 acre property surrounded by towering trees and gardens.
  • Can accommodate four people in two rooms within the main house.
  • A gourmet breakfast is included that includes fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • No minimum stay required.
  • Weekly rates are available.

Forest Garden Cottage

  • A remote property at the head of Okeover Inlet, 25 minutes north of Powell River and about 20 minutes drive from Okeover.
  • Off-grid living with solar and micro-hydro! There is a wood stove for heat, propane for cooking, a fridge and hot water. Wifi is available and there is some cell phone coverage at the main house.
  • The cottage sleeps four people with a Queen bed in the bedroom and fold-out sofa in the living room.
  • The cottage is fully furnished, including a full kitchen, shower, hot water, towels and linens.
  • Minimum stay of 2 nights required.
  • Pets may be considered; non smoking property.

Finn Bay House

  • Located in the charming village of Lund, 10 minutes from Okeover.
  • Waterfront artist retreat; 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms sleeps 4 people.
  • A short walk to Lund Harbour, multiple forest trails, beach access.
  • Usually a minimum 3 night stay (but please inquire for shorter durations).

Boutique Cottage for Two

  • Located 30 minutes north of Powell River in Lund, only 10 minutes from our Okeover site.
  • A small, unique cottage amongst the forest; sleeps 2 guests with a full kitchen, , laundry, bath, and outdoor hot water shower.
  • Just a short walk to Lund with bakery, restaurant, pub, kayak rentals and tours, and the water taxi to sandy Savary Island.
  • Easy access to trails, including the Sunshine Coast Trail which can be found right out the front door!
  • Minimum stay of 3 nights required.

Beautiful Home Close to Comox Ferry

  • Just one block from the Comox and Texada Island ferry, Marine Drive shopping district & great restaurants.
